Recently the children of Pointe Coupee Electric members as well as and children who attend one of Pointe Coupee Electric's sixteen adopted schools were invited to participate in the company's 3rd annual art contest.  The art was required to have an electrical theme and the words "Thank You" had to be included somewhere within the drawing.  The winning art will be displayed throughout the Pointe Coupee Electric's office buildings.  All winners received a framed certificate and a ribbon.  First place winners also received a $50 savings bond.  The following winners were selected in each of the following categories:

Grades 0-4

First Place- Connor Waits of Addis; attends Holy Family School

Second Place - Breck Mayeux of Port Allen; attends Holy Family School

Third Place - Terrielle Swift of New Roads; attends Rosenwald Elementary

Grades 5-8

First Place - Ashley Vosburg of Lakeland ; attends Valverda Elementary

Second Place - Kelli Bazer of Lettsworth; attends Catholic of Pointe Coupee

Third Place   - Kennedy Dupree of Plaquemine; attends Crescent Jr.

Grades 9-12

First Place - Marnie Harrison of Batchelor; attends Catholic High of Pointe Coupee

Second Place - Marianne Debetaz of New Roads, attends Catholic High of Pointe Coupee

Third Place - Kelsey Bello of Ventress; attends Catholic High of Pointe Coupee
