Employees Recognized for Service to Members Five employees of Pointe Coupee Electric were recognized for reaching milestones of service and dedication to the co-op and to the members of the co-op. These dedicated employees are a vital part of the day-to-day operations of Pointe Coupee Electric. Recognized in 2009 were: Ÿ Joseph H. “Jodie” Cotten, General Manager, 35 years of service Ÿ Johnny Plauche, Lead Lineman, serving the cooperative for 30 years Ÿ Lucille St. Romain, Executive Assistant, 20 years of service Ÿ Joanie Bishop, Director of Member Services, Marketing & Communications, 10 years of service Ÿ Addie Armato, Member Services Representative, serving the cooperative for 5 years This group of employees represents a combined total of 100 years of experience and service to the co-op and our members. Jimmy Ewing Jr., Board President, stated “The employees experience, knowledge and dedication are proof of their commitment to providing the best possible service to our members and improving the quality of life in our area.” Ewing continued, “We take pride in our employees and what they bring to the co-op.” In 2009, Pointe Coupee Electric employees represented about 532 combined years of service and experience to the cooperative and its members in Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge ParishesPCEMC is your local electric co-op providing services in Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge parishes for over 70 years.
