Pointe Coupee Electric Sponsors 6th Annual Art Contest          

      Recently the children of Pointe Coupee Electric members as well as children who attend one of Pointe Coupee Electric’s sixteen adopted schools were invited to participate in the co-op’s 6th annual art contest.  The art was required to have an electrical theme and the words “Thank You” had to be included somewhere within the drawing.  All art entries become the property of Pointe Coupee Electric, and the winning art will be displayed throughout the Pointe Coupee Electric’s office buildings.  First place winners received a $50 savings bond, a plaque and a certificate.  Second place winners received a plaque and a certificate while all third place winners received a ribbon and a certificate. The following students were selected as winners in this year’s contest:

Shelby Bush, attends Valverda Elementary
