Employee Spotlight - March 2008
Derek Jarreau
Each month PCEMC will highlight one of its valued employees. PCEMC understands
the importance of its member owners getting to know the people who are
instrumental in providing them with quality electric services.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Derek Jarreau to its member owners. PCEMC is very fortunate to have Derek as part of their Meter Reading Department. Derek joined the PCEMC team as a meter reader in February, 2007.
In a typical week, Derek can be found anywhere on our system from the northern part of Pointe Coupee Parish around Lettsworth to the southern part of Iberville Parish near Bayou Pigeon reading meters, fulfilling member requests, connecting or disconnecting service, and installing or removing meters. What Derek enjoys most about his job is working with the community and helping PCEMC members in any way that he can.
Derek is a resident of Morganza, and he is engaged to Mandy David of New Roads.
When Derek is not working at PCEMC, he enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, 4-wheeler
riding, or playing golf. He also enjoys spending time with his family and
friends.
