Employee Spotlight - February 2008 Jarvis Joseph  Each month PCEMC will highlight one of its valued employees. PCEMC understands the importance of its member owners getting to know the people who are instrumental in providing them with quality electric services.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Jarvis Joseph to its member owners. Since 2006 Jarvis has worked the 1029 miles of Pointe Coupee Electric lines. Jarvis, a Lineman, is currently responsible for fixing M.V. lights, connecting services, setting poles and providing quality service to our members. You will also find Jarvis answering trouble calls and providing service work, keeping power lines free of limbs and vines and other obstructions. When talking to Jarvis he will tell you the best thing about his job is working with his fellow employees and helping the members he works with on a day-to-day basis. 

Jarvis is a resident of New Roads. When he is not working at Pointe Coupee Electric, Jarvis enjoys playing sports and spending time with his children and girlfriend, Antona Howard. His favorite sport is basketball. Jarvis's fondest childhood memory is when he scored his first basket playing Little League Basketball. His biggest hero is his dad because he was always there to show him everything he needed to know. His favorite vacation was a trip to Florida because he went with everyone in his family and they had a great time. Jarvis says if he could visit any place in the world, money being no object he would go to Paris because it is the most beautiful place in the world.
