Employee Spotlight - November 2006 Jo Pourciau Each month PCEMC highlights one of its valued employees. PCEMC understands the importance of its member owners getting to know the people who are instrumental in providing them with quality electric services.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Jo Pourciau to its member owners. Jo has been an employee of Pointe Coupee Electric since 2003. Jo works with the Member Records. She is currently responsible for member data entry, member record accounting, billing processes, assisting customers and answering the phones. Jo enjoys the daily challenges that come with her work.

Jo is married to her husband of 19 years, Jeff Pourciau. They have three children Cassie, 19; Hunter 16; Alexis who is deceased; and granddaughter, Kimberly Alexis, 1. The couple presently resides in Ventress. Jo is an avid dog lover and enjoys her two dogs, a 2 year old Bloodhound named Chef and a 1 year old Boxer named Duke.

When Jo was a child she lived in Germany, Oklahoma and Mississippi. Her fondest memories as a child were fishing and playing in the country with her brother and sister in Mississippi.

Jo enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She says there is nothing better than a classic book like Gone with the Wind while sitting on a beautiful beach sipping margaritas.

Jo’s hero is her little girl Alexis who was very strong and had tremendous faith.
