PCEMC understands the importance of its member owners getting
to know the people who are instrumental in providing them
with quality electric services.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce
Buster Roy to its member owners. Since 2003 Buster has worked the
1029 miles of Pointe Coupee Electric lines. Buster, a Right of Way
Worker, is currently responsible for keeping power lines free of
limbs, vines and other obstructions. Buster enjoys working with
his fellow coworkers and the cooperative members. He likes to stay
busy, and likes the feeling of accomplishment by the end of the
workday.
Buster is a resident of New Roads and a native of Pointe Coupee
Parish. When he is not working at Pointe Coupee Electric, Buster
enjoys fishing and hunting with his friends and family. His favorite
sport is football. Buster says he really does not have a favorite
food; he enjoys it all. Buster’s favorite restaurant is Satterfields
in New Roads. Buster’s fondest childhood memory is going fishing
with his family at age 5 and catching his first fish. His favorite
vacation was a trip to Grand Isle with his family; he says he had
plenty of fun fishing and swimming. Buster’s ideal place to
visit one day with money being no object would be Antarctica.
