Employee of the Year Gary Grantham Each month PCEMC highlights one of our valued employees. PCEMC understands the importance of its member-owners getting to know the people who are instrumental in providing them with quality electric service.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Gary Grantham to its member owners. Since 1968 Gary has worked the 990 miles of Pointe Coupee Electric lines.
Gary’s 36 years of knowledge and experience makes it easy to spotlight this valued employee. (Acct. No. 431601) Gary, a lead linemen, is currently responsible for new construction of lines, troubleshooting and maintaining the current system. He handles mostly hot line work, but you will also find him answering trouble calls and performing service work, keeping power lines free of limbs, vines and other obstructions. Gary enjoys working with his fellow co-workers and the cooperative members.
A native of Morganza, Gary is married to Diane Ramagos. The couple reside in Morganza and will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary this year. They have two sons, Jason, 32, and Joshua, 28.
Gary enjoys spending quality time with his family. He says they often strike out on the weekends to eat out and play at the casinos. His other enjoyments are hunting and fishing. His favorite food is chicken (cooked any way). If he had to name a favorite restaurant it would be Not Your Mama’s in Morganza. His favorite vacation was a trip to Branson, Mo. Gary’s ideal place to visit one day would be Alaska to visit his relatives.
