Deborah Palermo
Each
month PCEMC highlights one of its valued employees. PCEMC
understands the importance of its member-owners getting to
know the people who are instrumental in providing them with
quality electric services.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Deborah Palermo to its
member-owners. Since 2001 Deborah has worked the 990 miles of Pointe
Coupee Electric lines. Deborah's two years of knowledge and experience
as well as her good nature makes it easy to spotlight this valued
employee. Deborah is currently a meter reader and enjoys working
with her fellow co-workers and the cooperative members.
Deborah is a resident of Livonia and a native of Pointe Coupee
Parish. Deborah is committed to Chris Pier. She has three children:
John, 23; Travis, 19, and Danielle, 18. Deborah's daughter-in-law
is Jessica Palermo, who has been married to her son John for three
years.
When Deborah is not working at Pointe Coupee Electric, she enjoys
spending time with her grandchildren, George, 9 months, and Shawn,
17 months. Her favorite sport is softball and her favorite food
is seafood. If she had to name a favorite restaurant it would be
Camile’s in Erwinville.
Deborah says with a smile her fondest childhood memory would be
skipping school to go fishing with her mom and dad. Deborah's ideal
place to visit one day would be Venice. When asked why, she said
to ride her grandsons on the gondolas.
