Josh Sanders
Each
month PCEMC highlights one of our valued employees. PCEMC
understands the importance of its member-owners getting to
know the people who are instrumental in providing them with
quality electric services.

This
month PCEMC would like to introduce Josh Sanders to its member/owners.
Since 2001 Josh has worked the 990 miles of Pointe Coupee Electric
lines. Josh's three years of knowledge and experience as well as
his comical nature and good humor make it easy to spotlight this
valued employee.
A
lineman, Josh, is currently responsible for new construction of
lines, troubleshooting and maintaining the current system. He handles
mostly hot line work, but you will also find him answering trouble
calls and providing service work, as well as keeping power lines
free of limbs, vines and other obstructions. Josh enjoys working
with his fellow coworkers and the cooperative members.
Josh
is a resident of Maringouin and a native of St. Landry Parish. Josh
noted that his hero without a doubt is his grandmother who has taken
care of him his entire life. When he is not working at Pointe Coupee
Electric, Josh enjoys hunting and fishing with his friends. His
favorite sport is basketball. Josh's favorite food is pizza. If
he had to name a favorite restaurant it would be Camile's Cajun
Cafe in Erwinville.
Josh's
fondest childhood memories are going fishing and hunting with all
of his friends. His favorite vacation was a trip to Panama City,
Fla. Josh's ideal place to visit one day would be Hawaii. When asked
why, Josh said with a grin, “to see the hula girls
