This
month PCEMC would like to introduce Warren Johnson to its member
owners. Since 1976 Warren has worked the 990 miles of Pointe Coupee
Electric's lines.
Warren's
27 years of knowledge and experience as well as his warm personality
make it easy to spotlight this valued employee. Warren served as
a lineman for 18 years. Nine years ago he accepted a position as
the Staking Tech. Warren's first priority is to the co-op's members.
Warren meets with members prior to hooking up their services to
assess their needs and wants. He still serves as a lineman when
needed.
Warren
is married to the former Elaine Jackson and the couple reside in
New Roads. Both Warren and Elaine are natives of New Roads and Pointe
Coupee Parish. The couple has been married for 27 years and have
4 children. Their oldest daughter, Pearl, is 30 years old and lives
in Alabama. Warren Jr., age 29, lives in Colorado. Warren's two
youngest children, Thaddeus, 27, and Lena, 22, both live in New
Roads. Warren proudly boasts of 5 beautiful grandchildren, 4 boys
and one girl.
Warren
enjoys playing pool in his spare time. He is an avid sports fan
and reports that college basketball is his favorite game. Warren
also enjoys listening to music and watching his favorite movie,
"Coming to America," starring Eddie Murphy. When asked
about his greatest childhood memory, Warren simply replied that
he loved growing up with his 4 siblings, especially around the holidays.
Warren
loves to travel and visit new places. He vacationed in Hawaii a
few years ago and visited with his son who lived there. Warren enjoyed
the climate and the beautiful scenery most of all and hopes to one
day visit Jamaica.
