Employee of the Month - April Matthew Pinsonat Each month PCEMC highlights one of our valued employees. PCEMC understands the importance of its member-owners getting to know the people who are instrumental in providing them with quality electric service.

This month PCEMC introduces Matthew "Matt" Pinsonat to its member-owners. PCEMC is very fortunate to have Matt as a part of its Operations Department. Matt began his employment at PCEMC in June 2001 and holds the position of right-of-way helper. His primary job responsibility is keeping the power lines free and clear of tree limbs and other obstructions.
Matt says he enjoys meeting the members he serves and working outdoors. Matt also commented that working with his fellow coworkers is also very enjoyable. Matt completed right-of-way school at the Association of Louisiana Electric Cooperatives (ALEC) in Baton Rouge. He is also enrolled in the Louisiana Lineman Training Program at ALEC.
Matt is single and has lived in New Roads all of his life. Matt owns a two-year-old Australian Blue Healer named Daytona. In his free time Matt enjoys hunting and fishing. His favorite food is steak, and his favorite place to eat is Parrains Seafood Restaurant in Baton Rouge. Matt's favorite sport is football. The LSU Tigers is his favorite team.
When asked about his favorite vacation, Matt said it was a trip to Panama City, Fla., with his family because they had so much fun on the beach. If Matt could visit any place in the world - money being no object - it would be Australia. He would like to see the Outback!
