Employee of the Year Jeffery Serio Each month PCEMC highlights one of our valued employees. PCEMC understands the importance of its member-owners getting to know the people who are instrumental in providing them with quality electric service.

This month PCEMC would like to introduce Jeffery "Jeff" Serio to its member owners. Jeff started work at Pointe Coupee Electric in November 2001 as a right-of-way worker. Recently, Jeff was transferred to the Line Department as a lineman. As a lineman Jeff is currently responsible for new construction of lines and maintaining the current system. You will also find him answering trouble calls and providing service work. Jeff enjoys working with his fellow coworkers and the cooperative members. Jeff says "the work is interesting, and I love being out in the public."
Jeff, a native of New Roads, is single and has lived in Pointe Coupee Parish all of his life. He has a son, Brocke, age seven.
Jeff enjoys spending time with his son when not working. He also enjoys fishing and hunting when he can find time. His favorite food is crawfish, and his favorite restaurant is Camile's Cajun Cafe. Jeff's favorite movie is "Rush Hour II," and his favorite sport is baseball. His fondest childhood memory was receiving his first three-wheeler when he was seven years old. Jeff says that his greatest heroes would have to be his parents, James and Dee Serio.
His favorite vacation was a trip to the Smoky Mountains. Jeff says he will always remember the scenery, wildlife, streams and the peaceful environment. Jeff's ideal place to visit, money being no object, would be Tahiti where he would like to rent a hut on the beach.
